Innovative Design with a Mission Located along one of Kansas City’s landmark boulevards, this fire station was designed to integrate into the fabric of the surrounding community and nearby Brush Creek. The design allows for the common areas of the training room to be separate from the public side, giving the visitor an unmistakable entry and the fireman a private environment to work and live. With room to house 12 fire fighters, the bunk mezzanine is located over the support functions giving them easy and clear access to the apparatus bay.
