The building’s glass lobby has a dramatic viewing angle of Snyder Stadium with the intent that the courtyard space outside the building be a festive space during before football games during the fall. Along with Human Capital, the first floor includes: a 72-seat, 1,500 square foot training room; a 1,240 square foot rentable event space; 3,800 square feet for corporate tenants; and an 1,800 square foot café/catering kitchen. Floors two and three are rentable, flexible corporate tenant office spaces with the third floor having fewer flexible walls modules to accommodate tenants needing larger spaces.
A Place to Think, Make, & Do The three-story, 60,000-square foot structure is the second building, or phase, in the new four in Foundation Office Park, a four building complex situated directly northeast of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The first building, K-State Foundation Headquarters, was completed by Hoefer Wysocki in the fall of 2015. Building II’s will be a “corporate incubator” for regionally based companies that will office in the building while employing K-State interns. The concept of “flexibility” is the core concept of the building, with a modular system of walls, floors and furniture to fit seamlessly into the building’s framework. This flexible system will be ideal for the temporary nature of corporate incubator tenants. The university’s Human Capital (human resources) department will also relocate as well.
