At Hoefer Wysocki Architects, we know that people really want to make a difference, but it takes all of us, working together to make real change happen. The week of October 26th-30th HWA participated in our 3rd annual corporate United Way campaign to raise money for United Way. Each year a theme is incorporated to encourage team work around the office. This year’s theme was Movie/Cinema Week. Throughout the week HWA raised $25,000. Go HWA!
Thank you to HWA staff who volunteered at Kansas City American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
Dividing the office into four teams, each day we dressed up as characters from different movies and participated in fund-raising activities.
On Friday, an “Academy Awards” ceremony was held to recognize participation and award those that raised the most money.
